I am an “Elderly Millennial” and a white, straight, cis-gendered woman who grew up as the oldest child (hi, first born daughters!) in rural “Gold Country” of Northern California. I love cooking, gardening with native plants, ice cream, and being outdoors.

I have been honored to walk alongside families of very young children since 2006 as a home visitor through Relief Nursery, Healthy Families, and Early Head Start programs. I am grateful still to the parents that let me into their homes and lives and who taught me so much. I have provided Reflective Supervision & Consultation for early childhood professionals since 2014 and have worked in a variety of early childhood settings as a home visitor, supervisor, manager, and mental health consultant.

I am a rostered Child Parent Psychotherapy clinician, a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, and am endorsed as an Infant Mental Health Clinical Mentor through the Oregon Infant Mental Health Association. I strive toward Body Trust and Health at Every Size® in both my personal and professional life. I believe mental health challenges/“diagnoses” are normal and correct responses to living in a capitalist society and that we’re all here just trying to figure things out as best we can for ourselves and for generations ahead.

Child Therapist

Insurance: Kaiser Permanente, Moda, PacificSource Community Solutions, OHP Open Card

Hi there! I’m Megan. I grew up in Santa Clara, California, as the middle child of three girls, raised by a strong, loving single mother who was a middle school teacher. She taught me that family is about connection and love, not just money or a house. Despite financial challenges, she made sure we celebrated holidays, followed traditions, and supported each other. Her tenacity and love inspired me to become a therapist, and through her example, I learned the value of resilience, honoring women, and showing up authentically.

I’m a licensed clinical therapist specializing in early childhood therapy, working with children and caregivers ages 0-6. I hold dual master’s degrees in Child Development from Sarah Lawrence College and Social Work from New York University Silver School of Social Work. Since 2016, I’ve been working with young children and families, focusing on dyadic therapy because I believe the caregiver-child connection is essential for healing. A core part of my work involves helping parents repair ruptures in their relationship with their children, healing trauma, and strengthening connections to foster trust and emotional security. I’m passionate about early childhood mental health and want to ensure young children get the support they need during these formative years.

As a new mother myself, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the bittersweet complexities of parenthood—the joy and wonder of watching your child grow, along with the emotional challenge of seeing them change so quickly. My husband and I moved to Oregon after ten years in New York City to be closer to family and find balance. Our daughter was born here, and we now share our home with our energetic 95-pound golden doodle, Ozzy. I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes, cherishing shared meals as moments of connection. When I'm not working, you can find me indulging in crime shows, reading, lounging as a self-proclaimed couch potato, or adding to my growing collection of shoes and enjoying all things bright-colored.

Parenting is hard, and I know it takes courage to ask for help and expand your village. I’m here to help you and your child navigate early childhood challenges, repair relational ruptures, heal trauma, strengthen your bond, and build a foundation for lasting emotional well-being. Whether you're facing parenting challenges or seeking to deepen your relationship with your child, I’m here to support you.

Are you finding that pregnancy and parenthood are harder than anyone told you they would be, or that your experience looks different from what you expected? Perhaps you’re navigating anxiety, loss, infertility, or a major life transition. Maybe you want to break unhelpful generational cycles so you can show up as your whole self in your relationships with your child, family, and community. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I work with individuals navigating the complex transitions of pregnancy and early parenthood, as well as those experiencing infertility and early pregnancy loss. These experiences can bring profound grief, uncertainty, and emotions that are often overlooked or misunderstood by society. It’s not uncommon to question yourself or find that the journey to parenthood is different—or harder—than you imagined. I strive to create a space where you can explore even the most uncomfortable or troubling thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment or stigma. Together, we can develop new ways of relating to yourself, your changing identity, and the people who matter most to you.

My approach is collaborative and grounded in an understanding of you as an individual, a member of a family and community, and part of a larger generational story. Becoming a parent is deeply relational and asks so much of us, including vulnerability, flexibility, and strength. I believe that supporting caregivers in feeling more attuned and grounded is one meaningful way to nurture the well-being of young children and families. My goal is to partner with you as you build a more compassionate relationship with yourself and create the connections and family life you want.
