Hi there! I’m Megan.
I grew up in Santa Clara, California, as the middle child of three girls, raised by a strong, loving single mother who was a middle school teacher. She taught me that family is about connection and love, not just money or a house. Despite financial challenges, she made sure we celebrated holidays, followed traditions, and supported each other. Her tenacity and love inspired me to become a therapist, and through her example, I learned the value of resilience, honoring women, and showing up authentically.
I’m a licensed clinical therapist specializing in early childhood therapy, working with children and caregivers ages 0-6. I hold dual master’s degrees in Child Development from Sarah Lawrence College and Social Work from New York University Silver School of Social Work. Since 2016, I’ve been working with young children and families, focusing on dyadic therapy because I believe the caregiver-child connection is essential for healing. A core part of my work involves helping parents repair ruptures in their relationship with their children, healing trauma, and strengthening connections to foster trust and emotional security. I’m passionate about early childhood mental health and want to ensure young children get the support they need during these formative years.
As a new mother myself, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the bittersweet complexities of parenthood—the joy and wonder of watching your child grow, along with the emotional challenge of seeing them change so quickly. My husband and I moved to Oregon after ten years in New York City to be closer to family and find balance. Our daughter was born here, and we now share our home with our energetic 95-pound golden doodle, Ozzy. I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes, cherishing shared meals as moments of connection. When I'm not working, you can find me indulging in crime shows, reading, lounging as a self-proclaimed couch potato, or adding to my growing collection of shoes and enjoying all things bright-colored.
Parenting is hard, and I know it takes courage to ask for help and expand your village. I’m here to help you and your child navigate early childhood challenges, repair relational ruptures, heal trauma, strengthen your bond, and build a foundation for lasting emotional well-being. Whether you're facing parenting challenges or seeking to deepen your relationship with your child, I’m here to support you.
